Summer Wet Felting Workshops

Summer is a great time to take workshops here in Arizona, get out of the heat and have some fun too! Here is a list of my upcoming workshops.

At Fountain Hills Artists Gallery

"WET FELTED & CHIFFON GAUZE SCARF"

Sunday, May 21, 4pm--8pm

Tuesday, May 23, 5pm--9pm

$75.00 all supplies included.

During this workshop you will make a beautiful summer scarf with an easy process known as Nuno felting! Students will be using silk chiffon gauze and merino wool. Sign up early to guarantee you get your favorite color. You will choose your color at registration.

Class is limited is 6.

3D wool painting.

Learn simple steps with wet felting and a little needle felting to Create this 11x 14 3D art piece ( unframed) No experience necessary class is limited to 6 Sunday, June 11, 11am-4pm $75.00 all supplies included

CACTUS SUN

Meet new people and have some Fun. learn how to do this cute little cactus painting using wool. Try your hand at wet felting and needle felting. Finished size will be 5x7 and fit nicely in an 8 x10 frame( frame not included.) No experience necessary

"DESERT SUNSET" WET FELTING

No Experience Necessary

Students will learn this fun and easy medium of wet felting with fiber artist, Rita Chester. Using wool, soap and water with a little bit of elbow grease , students will paint a desert sunset. If you have a picture of your favorite sunset or sky bring it to the workshop and Rita will help you re-create it in wool! Or Rita will have lots of sunset and sky photos to choose from as inspiration for you to create your own unique sunset/ Sky! Class limit is 6. Frames will be available for purchase at workshop
